With the rapid growth in popularity of ARCA rails in precision rifle AREA 419 saw a need to improve this great dovetail technology to something that could be mechanically locked in place instead of just friction.

ARCALOCK has been a huge success since its release in July of 2018. As the rails have become more popular we have also seen the rise in popularity of rifle weight kits. With the introduction of the Manners TCS stock in late 2019 AREA 419 designed and built an ARCALOCK weight system and are ready to make it available to the general public. This is the 14.25″ Universal ARCALOCK Rail!

WHAT WILL IT FIT – Lots of things. AREA 419 anticipates this will fit about 98% of Manners PRS1 PRS1 T2A T2A GAP T4A T4A TEAM and T5A stocks. If you’re not sure if it will fit your rifle you can use the hole spacing print and some basic common sense to figure it out. They made this as universal as possible while still retaining weight tuning capability. These kits will come with t-nut hardware to add attachment points if your factory-installed attachment points do not line up with our mounting slots. While this can also be attached to MLOK it DOES NOT come with MLOK hardware (sold separately).

WEIGHT – The bare rail weighs just over 6oz. With all 5 included weights in the rail the weight ends up at about 23.6oz. Each weight weighs 3.5oz.

THICKNESS – These rails are .400″ thick. For reference their standard 14″ 12″ and 10″ Universal ARCALOCK rails are .270″ thick.

FINISH – Rails will be black hardcoat anodized and the weights will remain raw brass.

NOTE: Rail kits now come with only one action screw and it is a longer screw. With the endless action/stock/chassis combos we found that nearly everyone was required to trim the screw for fitment anyway so the longer screw makes much more sense. MLOK HARDWARE IS NOT INCLUDED.

Introducing the ARCALOCK Dovetail Rail System

Clamp Features:

– Proprietary two-stage screw design.

Clamping screw features two different thread pitches. The coarse 16tpi is used when no tension is on clamp allowing rapid movement of the clamp vs others on the market. With high speed comes low torque though so to counteract this as soon as the clamp sees tension it will switch to the 32tpi threads in the knob to give you extra torque when not using on an ARCALOCK rail.
~1/4 turn releases the clamp from the detents on the ARCALOCK rail for movement
One turn fully releases clamp to be removed from rail

– Clamp directly bolts to Atlas Bipods using their factory hardware (excluding the 2-screw bipods. QD and NC only)

Since its release in 2018 ARCALOCK has been an industry-standard for fast solid lockup between rifles and accessories. Now they are adding more options and versatility to that mounting with the QD Arcalock Clamp.

15 MOA Scope Base for CZ455 11mm Dovetail

When they set out to build this AREA 419 wanted to solve the problem of CZ455 scope bases that slide around over time. The simple dovetail/set screw bases work for some people but they weren’t happy.

This design made from a single piece of T7075 aluminum and machined in house the AREA 419 Haas VF4SS 4 axis machining center is designed to slide onto the dovetail and be clamped down with a force that is consistent across the entire rail – and strong enough that your CZ455 will never budge it. For added security they have added a recoil lug at the rear of the base creating a mechanical stop for the base. Bases will come Type III black hardcoat anodized and will come with the necessary 2.5mm wrench for torquing the clamp screws. Recommended torque spec: 22 in/lb (2.5 NM)

Our rail comes in a 30MOA cant as it is meant for guys pushing their 22LRs out to 300+ yards. They also added real estate to the front of the rail to allow you to move your optic forward. This helps on higher powered scopes when coupled with the smaller stocks that are normal on a rimfire. This base is a little taller than the popular set-screw models (our rail adds a total of about 1/2″ of height to the dovetail) but by using lower height rings/mounts you should be able to retain a similar over bore height and maintain a good cheek weld without any riser.

Since they are good guys and the machine would already be working in the area AREA 419 decided to build in a level to the base. The material is flared out in the area to provide optimum viewing when in the prone position without much movement if any.

These rails can also be used with the CZ 452 excluding the “American” model which has a differently-sized dovetail.

Current production rails do not have an opening down the middle of the rail it is solid.

The AREA 419 rail comes in a 50MOA cant as it is meant for guys pushing their 22LRs beyond 300+ yards. It is also available in a 15MOA and a 30MOA configuration. AREA 419 added real estate to the front of the rail to allow you to move your optic forward. This helps on higher powered scopes when coupled with the smaller stocks that are normal on a rimfire. This base is a little taller than the popular set-screw models (our rail adds a total of about 1/2″ of height to the dovetail) but by using lower height rings/mounts you should be able to retain a similar over bore height and maintain a good cheek weld without any riser.

This bolt knob was designed by Area 419 to be the best all around bolt knob for competition and general use. Its main feature is the finger groove which allows you to manipulate the bolt with just your pointer finger without searching for the ideal position each time. Your finger automatically catches in the groove to assure the fastest smoothest bolt manipulation. There are two knurled surfaces located on either side of the groove to give a sure grip.

Defiance and Remington bolt knobs are threaded 5/16″-24.
Remington knobs are 1-5/8″ long to accommodate shorter bolt handles
Bergara and CZ 457 bolt knobs are threaded M6x1 and also work on many Accuracy International rifles.

A scope level doesn’t need to be complicated it needs to be visible and needs to be repeatable. This accomplishes these things with a high visibility spirit vial and a simple but versatile design that allows you to mount it to any of several mounting points on Area 419 rings and mounts all based on your preference.

Machined from 6061 Aluminum this product is Made in America and built to last.

When Area 419 set out to make the perfect scope mount they knew what they needed to make something that was reliable and consistent at a degree you won’t find anywhere else on the market. This led us down a rabbit-hole ultimately arriving on a process that gets you final-bore matched rings with raw aluminum internals for a grip on your optic that is more reliable and more true than anything else made – as well as an incredible amount of robustness without adding unnecessary weight.

Like most mounts these begin as separate parts. Area 419 are making the bases and caps in batches. While many will make these parts send them to anodize and then just assemble Area 419 produces around the extra steps. Once these parts return from anodize they are fully assembled placed back into specially produced rail fixtures with the caps torqued to spec over specially made spacers (to give the rings space to torque down on the optic) and final-bored as sets in our world-class machining centers. Mounts are then brought off the machine in sets QC’d and packaged ensuring that you receive a mount that was finished perfectly.
