Overview
GnomeArms LLC is committed to customer satisfaction. However, because we are a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL), many of our transactions are subject to strict federal regulations that limit or prohibit returns once certain legal thresholds have been crossed. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. If you have any questions prior to completing a transaction, we encourage you to ask our staff. This policy applies to all sales conducted in person at our Green River, Wyoming location and to any transactions facilitated through our website at gnomearms.com.

1. New-In-Box Firearms
New-in-box firearms may only be returned or exchanged in the event of a documented manufacturer defect that renders the firearm unsafe or non-functional. We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, or preference.
Federal Law Notice: Once a customer has completed and signed ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check has been initiated or approved, the firearms transaction is legally complete under federal law. At that point, the firearm cannot be returned to dealer inventory as a “new” firearm. Returns for defect or warranty purposes will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may require the firearm to be sent directly to the manufacturer.
Manufacturer Defects: If your new firearm exhibits a verifiable manufacturing defect within 30 days of purchase, please contact us immediately at (307) 371-2590. We will assist you in initiating a warranty claim with the manufacturer. GnomeArms LLC will facilitate the process but is not itself the warranty provider for new firearms.
Condition Requirement: To be considered for a defect return or exchange, the firearm must be in the same condition as sold, with all original accessories, packaging, documentation, and the original sales receipt.
No Returns for Legal Compliance Issues: We are unable to accept returns based on a purchaser’s subsequent inability to legally possess a firearm. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they are legally eligible to purchase and possess firearms prior to completing the transaction.

2. Used / Pre-Owned Firearms
All used and pre-owned firearms are sold AS-IS unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing at the time of sale. GnomeArms LLC makes reasonable efforts to disclose known defects or conditions in used firearms prior to sale, but provides no warranty, express or implied, on pre-owned merchandise.
No returns or exchanges will be accepted on used firearms after the transaction is complete, except as required by applicable law.
Any agreed-upon exceptions must be documented in writing and signed by a GnomeArms LLC representative at the time of sale.
Reminder: As with all firearms transactions, once ATF Form 4473 is completed, the transaction is legally final under federal law. This applies to used firearms as well.

3. Accessories, Optics, Parts & Non-Firearms Merchandise
Non-firearms merchandise, including accessories, optics, holsters, cleaning equipment, parts, and gear, is eligible for return or exchange under the following conditions:
• Items must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.
• Items must be in original, unused condition with all original packaging, tags, and included components intact.
• Original sales receipt or proof of purchase is required.
• Items that have been installed, modified, used, or show signs of wear will not be accepted for return.
• Defective merchandise may be returned or exchanged at any time within 30 days of purchase.
• Certain specialty or special-order items may be marked as non-returnable at the time of sale. Such items are sold as final sale.

4. Ammunition
No Returns — Safety Policy: GnomeArms LLC does not accept returns or exchanges on ammunition under any circumstances. This is a non-negotiable safety policy. Once ammunition has left our premises, we cannot verify its storage conditions, handling, or integrity. No exceptions will be made.
We strongly encourage customers to verify caliber, quantity, and type prior to completing any ammunition purchase. Our staff is happy to assist you select the correct ammunition before you buy.

5. NFA Items (Suppressors, Short-Barreled Rifles, Short-Barreled Shotguns, Machine Guns, AOWs, Destructive Devices)
The purchase of National Firearms Act (NFA)-regulated items is subject to a federal approval process that is separate from and in addition to the standard firearms transfer process. All sales of NFA items are final once the associated ATF transfer application has been submitted.
Absolutely No Returns on NFA Items: Once ATF Form 4 (for transfers) or ATF Form 1 (for making) has been submitted to the ATF for an NFA item, that transaction is irrevocably in process under federal law. GnomeArms LLC cannot accept returns, issue refunds, or cancel the transaction under any circumstances once the application has been filed.
Tax Stamps Are Non-Refundable: The $200 federal tax stamp fee (or $5 for AOW transfers) is collected by and remitted to the U.S. Department of Treasury. GnomeArms LLC has no ability to refund, reverse, or recover this fee under any circumstances, regardless of the outcome of the ATF application.
ATF Denial: If an ATF application is denied, the tax stamp fee is not refunded by the ATF and is not refunded by GnomeArms LLC. The NFA item will be retained in our inventory or transferred according to the customer’s lawful instructions.
Cancellation Prior to Submission: If a customer wishes to cancel an NFA item purchase before the ATF Form 4 or Form 1 has been submitted, a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item’s purchase price may apply. Cancellations of this type must be made in person and in writing.
Wait Times: NFA transfers are subject to ATF processing times that are outside our control and can range from several months to over a year. Extended processing times are not grounds for cancellation or refund once the application has been submitted.

6. Layaway Cancellations
GnomeArms LLC offers layaway plans as a convenience for customers. The following terms apply to all layaway agreements:
• A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of initiating a layaway. This deposit amount will be stated on your layaway agreement.
• Deposit Forfeiture: If a customer cancels a layaway plan or fails to complete payment within the agreed timeframe, the deposit is forfeited in full. The deposit will not be credited toward a future purchase.
• Layaway payments beyond the initial deposit may be refunded as store credit (minus any applicable restocking fee) at the sole discretion of GnomeArms LLC management, if cancellation occurs before the transaction is finalized.
• Once a layaway transaction is finalized (i.e., ATF Form 4473 is completed and the firearm is transferred to the customer), the standard firearms return policy applies.
• All layaway terms are documented in a written layaway agreement signed by the customer at the time of initiating the layaway.

7. Warranty Claims & Manufacturer Support
GnomeArms LLC will assist customers in initiating warranty claims with firearm manufacturers. We are not the warranty provider and cannot guarantee outcomes of manufacturer warranty processes. Typical assistance we provide includes:
• Helping you identify the correct manufacturer warranty contact or service center
• Accepting manufacturer-warranty firearms for shipping on your behalf (fees may apply)
• Receiving and notifying you of warranty-returned firearms

8. Governing Law
This Return & Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal law. All transactions conducted at GnomeArms LLC are also subject to the Gun Control Act of 1968, the National Firearms Act, ATF regulations (27 C.F.R. Parts 478 and 479), and any applicable Wyoming firearms statutes. In the event of a conflict between this policy and applicable law, applicable law controls.

9. Changes to This Policy
GnomeArms LLC reserves the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document and posted at gnomearms.com. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern that transaction.
