Two stage triggers require the shooter to pull the trigger until it hits a “break wall”, which is a stopping point between the first and second stages. Similar to taking up the slack as some people call it, the two stage trigger then breaks during the second stage after hitting the break wall. The benefit of a two stage trigger is that the shooter knows at exactly what point the trigger will break and is usually preferred on a DMR or marksman style bench-rest rifle. AR-15 single stage trigger assembly with combat reliability and made with full strength music wire springs for fast lock time and reliable discharge with factory or military ammunition. Hammer trigger disconnector and pins are made with the highest grade hardest longest wearing materials available. The assembly is contained in a high grade 410 stainless steel housing. Factory tuned and set for 3.5 lb. or 4.5 lb. pull with minimum take-up and over-travel. Installation is fast and simple: simply insert the one piece assembly and install the supplied over sized pins. Our barrels are 6 groove, cut rifled, 1:10 Twist Right Hand, fully QC inspected, double honed (rough and finish) to produce a smooth bore, with a Max Roughness Average (RA) of 12. Finished bore dimensions are held to +/- 0.0005″ tolerance from nominal groove and bore dimensions but the dimensions are uniform to within 0.0002 for maximum consistency, accuracy and quality. SAAMI, Match Grade specification chambers, precision cut and finished to a maximum Roughness Average (RA) of 16. The pre hardened 416R stainless steel is stress relieved to an exacting recipe after rifling and final hardness is 38-42 Rockwell C before final barrel profile machining is completed. Barrels are bead blasted to create a satin finish prior to plating
