This innovative low profile gas block not only weighs less than 2.0 ounces but clamps tightly to .750 diameter barrels.  It is constructed from 4150 hardened steel and Military Specification Heavy Phosphate Coating. Does not fit within the MFR Rail.

The Daniel Defense Rail Interface System (RIS II) was designed at the request of the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for the SOPMOD II program. It allows the individual operator to free-float the M203 grenade launcher without additional parts. The Daniel Defense RIS II M4A1 FSP features a cut out in the top rail to accommodate a standard front sight base on a carbine length gas system.

The Daniel Defense M4A1 features the M4A1 RIS II, which has been in use by US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for the SOPMOD II Weapons System since 2005. The M4A1 features a 14.5 Cold Hammer Forged M4 Profile barrel with a permanently attached Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor. This rifle also comes with the rugged and comfortable Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip. The Daniel Defense California compliant design prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while fully assembled, locking the magazine into the receiver. To release the magazine from the rifle, the shooter will be required separate the upper from the lower by pulling on an extended (rear) takedown pin with an attached cord to make the process easier.

The Daniel Defense M4 V7 SLW is one of the lightest, fastest-handling rifles available in the DDM4 line-up, tipping the scales at under 6 lbs. Built around a Cold Hammer Forged, 14.5 Lightweight profile barrel, the V7 SLW has an Extended Flash Suppressor which is pinned and welded to reach the NFA required 16 minimum barrel length. The mid-length gas system provides smooth and reliable cycling under any conditions and reduces both perceived recoil and wear on moving parts. A free-floating MFR 13.5 handguard offers incredible weight savings as well as superior cooling, ergonomics, and modularity while maintaining the strength and durability expected from Daniel Defense. This California Compliant model uses a rear takedown pin, with a paracord loop, to break open the rifle and release the magazine.

The Daniel Defense V7 LW is the first rifle in the DDM4 lineup to feature the M-LOK attachment technology with the Daniel Defense MFR XS 15.0 rail. Built around a cold hammer forged barrel, it has a DD improved flash suppressor to reduce flash signature. The mid-length gas system provides smooth and reliable cycling under any condition and reduces both perceived recoil and wear on moving parts. A free-floating MFR XS 15.0 hand-guard offers incredible weight savings as well as superior cooling, ergonomics, and modularity while maintaining the strength and durability expected from Daniel Defense. With the M-LOK attachment points that run along 7 positions and an uninterrupted 1913 picatinny rail on top, the V7 LW has plenty of room for the sights, optics, and accessories the user may require. The MK12 is constructed around an 18-inch Stainless Steel barrel with a chamber created during the Cold Hammer Forging process, which ensures the most precise alignment of the chamber to the bore possible. This, along with being salt bath nitride finished, equates to unprecedented accuracy and durability. The lower receiver has an enhanced flared magazine well and rear receiver QD swivel attachment point, and is the lower receiver is made from CNC Machined 7075-T6 Aluminum. The buttstock and pistol grip are made of a glass field polymer with Soft Touch Molding, and is Daniel Defense DD5 Rail 15.0 with M-LOK attachment.
