The Dead Air Shim Kit is composed of three different shim thicknesses for the most precise timing of your muzzle device. The graphic on the packaging details the thicknesses and identifying features of the shims included with the kit. Always place the thickest shim on the barrel shoulder first.

Furthermore, Dead Air Primal silencer owners will also be able to enjoy the benefits of Xemax by simply installing the Xemax adapter on their silencer and the Xemax muzzle brake on their host weapon. All of the Xemax Muzzle Brakes do require “timing” and come with the appropriate Shims to do so. NOTE: Please consider caliber and bore limitations of the suppressor when mounting the Xemax adapters and mounts.
