Headspace is the distance between the face of the breech and the base of the cartridge when the action is closed and excessive headspace can be dangerous as well as impair accuracy. For instance unsupported brass fired in a rifle action with excessive headspace can rupture allowing gas to blow rearward like rocket exhaust. Because your safety is on the line Forster Headspace Gages are made with painstaking care and exacting manufacturing standards to ensure accurate testing of your rifle’s chamber.

If a rifle closes on a GO gage the rifle chamber will accept any ammunition that is made within SAAMI (industry standard) specifications. If a rifle closes on a NOGO gage the rifle chamber might have excessive headspace. Most gunsmiths chamber a rifle’s headspace between the GO and NOGO dimensions. If a rifle closes on a FIELD gage the rifle chamber is dangerously close to or already over the SAAMI specified maximum chamber size.

Their response is a short handle that's easy to retrofit on your Forster Co-Ax press complete with a comfortable ball fitting on the end that makes it easier to grip.

The Forster s Case Remover is great for people who do home reloading. Developed as an inexpensive and easy-to-use case remover it works on any size die as long as it has threaded spindles. With this design stuck cases with the de-capping rod and expander ball lodged in the die can be dislodged.

All of the components of this case remover are hardened to ensure a long life. In addition the cleaner comes with a washer that helps protect the top portion of the die. Forster recommends using this cleaner for .22 through .50 caliber dies.

The Forster Classic Case Trimmer Collet is available in four different options including #5 #6 #7 and #8. All of these collets are affordably priced and built to last. Using the #8 as an example a reloader is required along with the Forster Classic Case Trimmer in order to trim specific cartridges.

One note: This collet is not designed to work with the Original or Power Case Trimmer. As far as cartridge sizes for the #8 these include 280 Nitro Express Rimmed Flanged 38-56 Winchester 40-65 Winchester 40-90 Sharps Bottle Neck 45-100 Sharps Straight 45-70 Government and 45-90 Winchester.
