MPA DN5 Bolt Action Muzzle Brake – 30 Cal 

This is the 30 Cal version of our tremendously popular Dn5 brake. This version is designed for calibers that generate additional gas pressures and volume such as 308 Winchester 7MM PRC 7mm Saum and other calibers 308 or smaller.

Function: Significantly Reduces Recoil while keeping the muzzle down
Design: The multiple blast ports redirects propellent gases to counter recoil from the firearm. The unique port pattern also directs the gas upward forcing the muzzle down. This allows the shooter to see trace and bullet impact/misses for more concise follow up shoots.

These brakes are specifically designed to be used in PRS style competitions when extreme recoil reduction is required during the firing of the rifle to allow the shooter to stay on target for follow up shots. Using our special testing system we have tweaked the design to achieve a 63% reduction in recoil.

Masterpiece Arms BA Rings are designed primarily for the discerning hunter who wants to use the best rings available to ensure optic consistency and assurance the rifle is on plane when taking that most important shot.

The rings are sold as a set. On one cap there is a built in leveling system. The profile and location are specifically designed to allow the hunter to see the level with the shooters weak eye while the strong eye is on the target through the ocular lens on the optic. All this is completed while the shooter is down on the rifle. No need to take your eyes off the target to ensure the rifle is not canted.

The low profile snag free location is designed  so that the leveling system does not catch on limbs or heavy brush when the rifle is carried by the hunter.

The width of the rings 1″ provides an extreme clamping surface area as compared to similar products. The BA Rings have a grip on the optic tube that simply will not allow movement. Don’t let skinny little light duty rings get in the way of harvesting that trophy you have worked so hard to achieve.

The jam nut collar system utilizes a design that allows the shooter to jam the nut and brake against each other in the appropriate position on the muzzle of the rifle. There are 2 machined flats that are used to both level the brake body as well as interfacing with an adjustable wrench for installation of the brake. It not only eliminates the need for ground shims but also aligns the ID of the brake perpendicular with the shoulder of the barrel minimizing initial point of impact shift.

The BA Series Mounts are made for mounting high performance optics onto bolt action rifles with Picatinny rail scope bases. The mount is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat T3 Mil-Spec anodize. Horizontal split rings. The interface ensures positive engagement for both in spec and out of spec rail systems. Absolute Return to Zero via multiple locking lugs located on the bottom of the rail interface.
