This Safariland Chest Rig (SCR) is an add-on part for Safariland holsters. The ELS Kit features the ELS 34 Locking Fork and the ELS 35 Receiver Plate. The Model 079 is a patented holder that features a low cut design for easy magazine grasp. Molded from Safari-laminate it holds magazines tightly in place. The Model 079 holder differs from the 076 competition version in that it has two straps on the back that form the belt loop. The 079 also features an adjustable magazine tensioning device that lets an officer set the exact amount of friction required to remove the two magazines.
