TacStar’s Shotgun Rail Mount with Sidesaddle is ultra-rigid, lightweight and straddles both sides of the receiver. It is constructed of aluminum with a non-glare anodized finish. The top Picatinny rail can mount a variety of accessories, yet is designed to sit just high enough to allow continued use of the shotgun’s bead sight. Keeping six shells in readiness, the low profile design SideSaddle incorporates TacStar’s proprietary material for durability and secure shell retention. This model is compatible with Mossberg 930.

TacStar Shotgun Rail Mount includes three Picatinny rails of the standard size each of which is located 90 degrees from the next. This design gives the rail mount the ability to be configured in various arrangements to meet any needs for mounting accessories to your shotgun.

The clamping system of the mount is easy to install and manages to offer strength and security without marring the extensions. You can select either a short (1.8-inch) or long (4.1-inch) shotgun mount. When selecting the ideal mount length consider your accessories as well as extension length.

Tacstar's SideSaddle line has gained a large following because of their convenient placement of shells right where you need them for a fast reload. Tacstar has taken the SideSaddle to the next level with their streamlined version that features easy shell removal with secure shell retention. They use a non-glare; anodized aluminum backing plate material and they have contoured the plate so that it takes up less space on the receiver and has fewer areas that could potentially snag. Additionally Tacstar uses a rigid weather resistant polymer material for the shell carrier that is equipped with an internal flexible retention strip positioned along the shells to give them a secure hold yet allows easy removal. Like the backing plate the shell carrier also is smaller in size than our traditional SideSaddle adding to its sleek appearance.
