The VK-1 is a lightweight, low profile, feature-rich, piston driven platform for the discerning shooter, features patented state of the art internal components, offering shooters a flatter, cleaner, more consistent shooting experience than traditional DI or legacy piston driven platforms in the lowest profile footprint on the market.

The VK-1 rifle uses a patented low-profile piston system design featuring optimum gas port sizing and an advanced piston assembly. Featuring a unique cup and spigot design that improves the gas seal and overall efficiency of the gas system and a staged gas bleed system that allows the rifle to operate consistently, either suppressed or unsuppressed, with varying types of factory ammo. The reimagined VK-1 Short Stroke Piston System includes a fully-supported one-piece op rod and removable gas block which matches the footprint and weight of a standard DI AR-15 while providing the benefits of a piston driven system. Includes two Magpul Gen 3 PMAGs, rifle lock and hard case.

The VK-1 Handguard has been designed to be as slim, lightweight and low profile as possible. It features the M1913 Picatinny Rail in the 12 oclock position that provides a continuous, uninterrupted interface from the rear of the upper receiver forward when using a VKTR Upper Receiver. It is machined from aircraft grade, heat-treated aluminum extrusion.
